
InformationSouth Central Jr. / Sr. High School is located in the southernmost portion of Harrison County, Indiana and serves the communities of Elizabeth and Laconia. Serving an average of 400 students each year in grades 7 - 12, South Central employs 37 faculty and staff members. It is one of two high schools in the South Harrison Community School Corporation. Students at South Central have the opportunity to participate in a large number of extra-curricular activities, ranging from athletics to clubs for every type of student. Even though South Central is a small school, its curriculum is diverse. Students have the ability to choose from a wide variety of elective courses in business, fine arts, technology, agriculture, and family/consumer sciences. Students also have the choice of taking an Advanced Placement course in Calculus or dual credit courses in business and economics. Dual credit courses are also available for our students at the Corydon Central High School campus.
