ACT/SAT

Student Test Preparation Tools

If you're looking for some good, online test preparation resources--here are two. The Indiana Virtual Library now offers free access to AP, SAT, ACT, GED, and many other electronic test prep materials from Peterson's. Also, the army has a website called March2Success which offers a myriad of test prep materials (students don't have to share their information with the army). There is also a short video that explains how to use March2Success.

SAT Skills Insight helps students familiarize themselves with and practice for the SAT. Here, students can access this online tool to see the types of skills demonstrated within a particular score band and also gather suggestions for improvement.

My SAT Online Score Report includes information about percentiles, a copy of the students essay and details about his/her performance on different types of questions. With the report comes a wealth of online tools to help each student find the right fit for college. Go to www.collegeboard.com/scorereport-demo to view a demonstration of the report. Students can access their score report (after testing) by signing into College Board with their username and password.
